This new infrared diode is an ideal choice for a variety of applications requiring exceptional brightness and high output power. The 808nm diode, which comes standard in a CCP package, can serve as a pump source for neodymium-based diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers. Other applications include tumor therapy, ophthalmology, fiber laser pumping, and Raman amplifier pumping.
