The Conax Power Lead (PL) high pressure electrical feedthrough is a reusable steel fitting designed for pressure or vacuum sealing of insulated leadwire, in applications such as transformer and motor power, conduit box feedthroughs, pressure and vacuum chamber power and instrument feedthroughs. The PL gland features the Conax-designed "soft sealant" technology that uses the compression of a material within a fixed housing to develop a strong seal. The gland is easily assembled and adjusted in the field. Simply insert the wires and torque the cap. The replaceable sealant permits repeated use. Wire identification markers are applied for easy field installation. For use in pressures from vacuum to 10,000 psi (690 bar). Rated at 600 volts to 55 amps. Available with Teflon or grafoil sealant. Can be supplied with or without conductors. Seals 1 to 12 wires, depending on wire size. 20 to 8 AWG Kapton-insulated wire available.
