With thickness and topographical measurement speed up to 4000 measurements per second, CHRocodile E sets the standard for inspections of materials for thickness, distance, topography, surface characterization and other quality controls. The CHRocodile E uses a measurement method based on the chromatic coded principle. The CHRocodile E is used for high precision distance measurements, for quality control and inline-monitoring, for determination of glass thickness, and for non-contact thickness measurements of transparent materials. A wide range of optical probes allows topographic measurements from 10nm - 25mm and chromatic thickness measurements from 30μm - 35mm. Interferometric mode enables measurement of transparent materials from 2μm - 150μm. APPLICATIONS -- AUTOMOTIVE Evaluation of structures on dashboards, controls, seating, tires, glass, as well as roughness of engine components. GLASS INDUSTRY Sunglasses, brown beer bottles, green cosmetic bottles or white laboratory glassware. Glass thickness and surface features of bottles. Foils with sandwich layers. Inline monitoring of production process of flat glass while operating in extreme temperatures of 700°C. SEMICONDUCTOR
