Internal modulation allows the steam to be injected at sonic velocity assuring complete condensation and mixing of the steam.

Energy Savings - The PSX heater utilizes 100% of the steam energy, using both the sensible and latent heat. The low liquid pressure drop (1-2 psig) across the heater will reduce pump energy consumption. No flash losses with condensate return systems.

Maintenance Free Design - Eliminate scale and mineral build-up associated with traditional heating designs. No hot surfaces to allow scale build-up or scorching of product.

Process Flexibility - Flowrates from 1 – 10,000 gpm with a temperature rise from 1-2 °F for trim temperature control, to up to 250 °F in a single pass for rapid heat-up applications.
