PULSA Series® diaphragm metering pumps have been an industry standard since 1936. Pulsafeeder's reputation in the marketplace has been built on the reliability, flexibility, and exceptional value that the PULSA Series product line offers.
The PULSA Series features diaphragm designs for every application.
Pulsafeeder's PULSA Series diaphragm metering pumps are offered with three different diaphragms designs.
The FLAT DIAPHRAGM, our most popular design, is ideal for almost any application. The diaphragm is designed with an integral o-ring to ensure that no diaphragm stress is present, even under maximum bolt torque.
The HYDRATUBE tubular diaphragm is the perfect offering for those applications where fluid viscosity is excessive, or where particulates are suspended in the pumped media. The HYDRATUBE diaphragm offers a straight flow path, ideal for handling such applications.
Our HYDRACONE conical diaphragm is available on the 680, 200, and R1 models, and offers an excellent alternative to the HYDRATUBE. The cons-shaped elastomeric diaphragm ensures stable hydraulics even under extreme suction lift conditions due to the inherent memory retention of the elastomeric diaphragms.
This easily primed, flow-through head is a favorite for countless applications. Typical construction is 316 stainless steel with PTFE diaphragm. Heads and valves are available in alternative materials.
- 316L
- #20 Stainless Steel
- Alloy C
- Monel
- Nickel
- PVC
- PTFE
- Polypropylene
- PVDF
- Other high-alloy materials, plastics, etc.
Diaphragms are also available in a variety of metal alloys and other plastics. The metal diaphragms are recommended for high temperature conditions or for handling radioactive or gaseous materials. The metering head design permits tightening to maximum bolt torque without stressing the diaphragm material. The heads have no pipe thread connections to fail from galling or crevice corrosion so a major source of leakage and service problems is eliminated.
