The Fluorosint® enhanced PTFE product line from Quadrant is providing solutions for the extreme conditions these industries face today. Fluorosint excels in components that previously required extensive maintenance or frequent replacement. In most cases, entire systems were worn as mating surfaces were destroyed - adding additional cost and down time. The broad Fluorosint product line-up offers elevated temperature capability and wear resistance that allows users to consider extreme applications reaching 600° F (315°C) where most fluoropolymer based products stop at 450°F (232°C).
Fluorosint enhanced PTFE is available in several grades - all offering interesting combinations of low frictional properties and high dimensional stability. Each grade outperforms traditional, low-tech PTFE based materials not only in terms of friction and wear but in resistance to deformation. A broad range of rod, plate, tube and direct formed parts are possible for finished part machining.
