Lastest generation automatic gas expansion pycnometer (using Boyle's Law). Operating simplicity is achieved by user prompts or instructions via keypad on the front of the unit, or by PC (see below). Measurements and printout of results are totally automatic.
Before analysis, samples are automatically conditioned in the instrument to remove contaminants and trapped air. The user has a choice to purge by a continuous flow, or by a pulse mode for powders. The pressure transducer is automatically reset to zero prior to each run. Continuous self-diagnostics monitor and signal fault conditions that may arise. Front panel LED's display the operational status at all times.
The Ultrapyc features Ethernet connections to a PC and communication via a standard web browser. Analysis can be started and monitored from the PC, even remotely on a network. Reports can be accessed for analysis on the PC, or can be stored on an external USB flash / thumb drive.
Supplied complete with set of three different size stainless-steel sample cups, four calibration spheres, pdf manual in instrument memory and 12-month warranty.
Accessory heating/cooling device available for thermostatting if desired.
