See Product Details

The DNT900 is a low-cost, long-range, multi-purpose, multi-function 900 MHz frequency hopping RF module. Supporting analog, digital and serial I/O, the DNT900 has the ability to auto-report and sleep between reports thereby reducing power consumption. The DNT900 provides a selection of over-the-air data rates and transmit power levels allowing one module to work for many products and giving the OEM designer the confidence that the radio can be modified if needed when the design is finished without having to design-in another radio.

Highly Reliable and Secure FHSS Capabilities at Very Low Cost

  • RFM proprietary frequency hopping technology provides robust communications reliability, provides interference rejection and minimizes multipath fading (up to 50 frequency channels 902-928 MHz)
  • 900 MHz ISM band allows license-free use in the USA, Canada, South America, Israel, Australia and New Zealan
  • 40+ mile transmission range with omni-directional antennas (antenna height dependent)
  • Support for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint applications
  • Serial port rate up to 460.8 kb/s for streaming applications
  • AES-128 Encryption allows the most sensitive data to be securely sent wirelessly
  • Dynamic TDMA slot assignment that maximizes throughput and CSMA modes that maximizes network size
  • Transparent ARQ protocol with data buffering ensures data integrity
  • Simple serial interface handles both dats and control at up to 460.8 kb?s
  • Low cost provides substantial cost savings over existing long-range radios without compromising features or radio performance

Highly Configurable Including RF Data Rate and RF Transmit Power

  • The DNT900 enables the OEM designer to fit the radio to the application rather than having to fit the application to the radio
    • RF Data Rates: 38.5 to 500 kb/s
    • RF Transmit Power: from 1 mW to 1 W
    • Frequency Hopping Rates
    • Bandwidth Allocation
    • Co-located Network Support
    • Sleep Modes
  • Flexibility means that the OEM designer no longer has to become familiar with ... or stock... multiple radio modules
