Panasonic Electric Works introduces RF voltage sensitive PhotoMOS relays with built-in resistor, eliminating the need to mount an external input resistor. With the small package size, and inclusion of a built-in input resistor, space on the PC board is saved.

This space-saving, labor saving series features 40-60V, low CxR and high capacity varieties: two varieties of ultra-miniature package SSOP, 1a, 40V (low C-0.12A and low R-0.25A); a high capacity SOP 4-pin, 60V and 1.25A load current, 1a version; and two SOP 16-pin, 4a, 40V (low C-0.06A and low R-0.16A) types.

The SSOP saves board space, measuring 4.45 (W) x 2.65 (L) x 1.80mm (H). The SOP4 version measures 4.4 (W) x 4.3 (L) x 2.1mm (H). The SOP16 measures 4.4mm (W) x 10.37mm (L) x 2.1mm (H).

Primarily designed for measuring and testing equipment, other applications for the RF voltage sensitive series include medical, telecom and broadcasting equipment.
