Powerful embedded computing platform

The UC-8410 s is powered by the Intel XScale IXP435 533 MHz RISC CPU, a powerful computing engine that supports several useful communication functions without generating a lot of heat. With 16 MB NOR Flash ROM and 256 MB SDRAM built in, application software can be executed directly on the UC-8410, with 32 MB NAND Flash available for data storage. Numerous connection options RS-232/422/485, digital I/O, LAN) makes the UC-8410 an ideal communication platform for industrial applications that require network redundancy.

Linux 2.6 pre-installed

Linux 2.6 comes preinstalled on the UC-8410 and is an excellent open standard platform for application development. Software originally written for desktop PCs can be easily ported to the UC-8410 without modifying the code—all that's needed is a common compiler. This helps minimize the cost and effort of integration and implementation in industrial applications.

Wide temperature models for harsh environment

In addition to the standard model, a wide temperature model of the UC-8410 is available for harsh industrial environments and temperatures between -40 and 75°C.
