The IA260 is a compact embedded computer with 4 RS-232/422/485 serial ports, dual Ethernet ports, 8 digital input channels, 8 digital output channels, VGA output, 2 USB hosts, and a CompactFlash socket. It is housed in an industrial-strength aluminum case.

Powerful RISC CPU

The IA260 is powered by the Cirrus Logic EP9315 ARM9 32-bit 200 MHz RISC CPU. This powerful computing engine supports key communication functions while generating very little heat. With the built-in 32 MB NOR Flash ROM and 128 MB SDRAM, there is enough memory to run application software directly on the unit.

Excellent Heat Tolerance

The IA260's patented "H-Type" heat dissipation design makes it an ideal computing unit for extremely hot environments. This design transmits heat directly from the internal source to the surrounding air. The wide temperature model supports -40 to 75°C operating temperatures.

VGA Support

With built-in VGA output, the IA260 is ideal for industrial SCADA applications involving display and HMI, such as factory automation, production line process monitoring, and mining automation.

Multiple Connection Interfaces

The IA260 supports RS-232/422/485, digital I/O, USB 2.0, CompactFlash, and dual LAN connections. It is an ideal communication platform for industrial applications that require network redundancy.

Linux or WinCE pre-installed

The IA260 comes with Linux or WinCE 6.0 pre-installed, providing a friendly environment to develop sophisticated application software. Moxa's excellent software support helps programmers develop code more easily, more quickly, and at lower cost.
