ROHM's BP5074 series AC/DC converters have a power consumption of 7mW during standby (equivalent to ¼ the amount of conventional products) and operate at less than 50mW during operation under lighter loads (2mA in a microcontroller application). The units enable simple configuration due to a built-in coil– the only external components required are input/output capacitors and a rectifier diode. The maximum operating range is from -25ºC to 80ºC while the maximum output current is 100mA. These converters are available in a SIP9 package type. These converters can be used in a variety of applications, such as equipment using sensors as well as home appliances (rice cookers, vacuums, lighting equipment, humidifiers/dehumidifiers and DC motors).
