ROHM's BU1570KN Adaptive Image Enhancer IC is used to correct images, adjusting both the color and brightness adaptively in real time. The AIE algorithm core consists of three blocks: brightness determination, image enhancement and color correction. It also features a motion alarm/watchdog function that divides images into 64 areas and sends an interrupt signal to the CPU once motion is detected.

When combined with BU1569GVW featuring MIDI playback, it is possible to configure applications with audio capability for enhanced functionality.

This product can be used to correct images as well as video in both portable and general consumer electronic devices.

All ROHM products are both lead-free and RoHS compliant.
