Pi 3 Power for Embedded Systems Designers

Love Pi 3's functionality but need something smaller for your embedded designs? Raspberry Pi's CM3 (Compute Module 3) is just 67.6 mm x 31 mm and fits into a standard DDR2 SO DIMM socket. Now embedded systems designers can integrate Pi power into more industrial-type applications.
The new Compute Module 3 family of products is available from RS now and includes:
- Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 (CM3)
- Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Lite (CM3L)
- Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 IO Board (CMIO V3)
- Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Development Kit (CM3 Dev Kit)
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 (CM3)
CM3 is the standard version of the latest Compute Module from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is pin compatible with the existing Compute Module (CM1) and features the same 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Broadcom BCM2837 as the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. It also features 4GB eMMC flash memory and 1GB RAM.
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Lite (CM3L)
CM3L is the 'Lite' version of CM3. It is exactly the same as CM3 but without the eMMC flash device. Instead, the eMMC/SD interface pins are routed to the edge connector for you to connect your own microSD card or eMMC device.
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 IO Board (CMIO V3)
A new version of the Compute Module IO board is available too - CMIO V3. This latest version of the break-out board includes a microSD card socket to support the Lite module (CM3L). Otherwise, it is the same as the original CMIO board.
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Development Kit (CM3 Dev Kit)
If you want to get straight down to prototyping with CM3, this kit bundles together everything you'll need. It includes:
