The vertical non-metallic centrifugal pump RVKu was developed for handling aggressive, corrosive, contaminated liquids, such as acids, alkalis, chemical effluents and waste waters. The closed impeller design allows submersion depths to 3000 mm (118 inches) at operating temperatures up to 80 deg C (176 deg F).

Quiet and smooth shaft operation is guaranteed by using submerged sleeve bearings made of carbon, ceramic or silicon carbide and a self-aligning roller bearing not in contact with the pumped fluid.

Features:

• All parts in contact with the fluid are made of strong solid plastic.
• Shaft with non-porous plastic coating.
• Main support pipe and discharge pipes are separate.
• No metal parts in contact with the fluid.
• Motor and pump shafts connected with flexible coupling.
• Standard IEC or NEMA motors.
• Pump type RVKuF with recessed impeller design available for solids handling.
• Sealing options at the mounting plate: Type Y using PTFE double lip seal, Type Z labyrinth seal, Type C2 double mechanical seal.
• Submerged bearings can be flushed internally with the process fuid or externally with clean fresh water.
• Non-metallic suction strainer.

• Hydraulic parts (impeller, casing and cover) also available in High Density Polyethylene PE 1000.

Submersion Depths:

• Lengths to 1750 mm (68 inches) without intermediate bearings.
• Lengths to 3000 mm (118 inches) with intermediate bearings.
• Submersion depth can be extended by using a tailpipe.
