The Raloid 20" CGIM Contour Grinder was developed to accurately grind bonded and riveted shoe and lining assemblies with automatic loading and unloading capabilities for maximum efficiency and performance from operator free loading, grinding, and unloading functions.

The grinder has capabilities with selected options to grind the outside radius of the lining as well as the leading and trailing chamfers if required tangent to the radius, at either the (3) o'clock or the (6) o'clock grind positions, with appropriate squareness and true locating datums on the shoe assemblies.

The Grinder System offers an optional laser sensor which will inspect for lining location (leading and trailing) ends and will auto eject assemblies outside the input tolerance.

NOTE: Raloid would suggest that customers consider the Raloid Gaging System and "Smart Cart" for total system capability.
