SAFOAM RPC-20AS contains special stabilizers to help prevent discoloration and a special surfactant package based on a styrenic resin to improve melt tension and melt flow. It is commonly used in injection molding for the elimination of sink marks, reduction of part warpage, and for weight reduction. In extrusion operations, it is used for the creation of fine size cells in direct gas applications.

RPC-20AS is recommended for Nylon, PC and PET based thermoplastics that reach the decomposition temperature during injection molding or extrusion. RPC-20AS is commonly used to create a standard cell structure for medium density foam applications. RPC-20AS can be used in various applications in conjunction with gas counter-pressure and gas assist molding technologies.
