SAFOAM® RPC-40 is an endothermic chemical nucleating and blowing agent for the creation of a fine foam structure in thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion applications. It is commonly used in injection molding for the elimination of sink marks, reduction or part warpage, and for minor weight reduction. In extrusion operations, it is used for the creation of density reduction.
SAFOAM® RPC-40 is used in PC, PC/ABS blend, and various other engineering polymers. It is being used in various automotive, medical, and building and construction applications.
