AP-40 is a medium temperature styrenic masterbatch of an endothermic/exothermic chemical nucleating and blowing agent for the creation of a foam structure in thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion applications.

AP-40 is recommended for ABS, PVC and Elastomer based thermoplastics that reach the decomposition temperature during injection molding or extrusion. AP-40 is commonly used in large injection molded parts to create a standard cellular structure for medium density foam applications. AP-40 can be used in various applications and in conjunction with gas counter-pressure and gas assist molding technologies.Some applications may be profiles, pipe, electronic parts, building and construction applications, furniture, shoe soles, sporting goods, and much more!
