The SB2i and SB2G provide dual axis inclination or acceleration measurement in an environmentally protected housing. The sensing package incorporates a modular design allowing the user to select the measurement range and sensor for each axis that best suits the individual application.
The two axes can have different ranges including a mixture of both inclination and acceleration ranges. Both symmetrical (example: ±80º or ±3g) and oblique (example: -10° to +90°) ranges are available.
A complete sensor package is comprised of the following: a measurement sensor; two (2) internally regulated power supplies; separate signal conditioners for 4 to 20 mA current or 0 to 5VDC voltage output operation; separate active low pass filtering for high frequency noise suppression. The filter's upper frequency and time constant can be customized to suit a wide range of requirements.
The SB2i is available with CSA Certification for Intrinsic Safety, Class 1/Division 1 or Class 1/Division 2.
