With its Liquid Cooling Package (LCP) Rittal is offering a new performance class for liquid-based server cooling. UL/cUL approvals guarantee tested safety.
The constantly increasing packing densities and ever increasing processor speeds of computer systems are causing thermal problems that need to be considered right at the planning stage of IT systems, racks and computer centers. Rittal is now offering an innovation in climate control in the form of its Liquid Cooling Package (LCP), a new class in high-performance cooling. LCP solves the problem of high power dissipation of up to 30 kW per rack. It is fitted as an environmentally controlled chamber on the side panel of a server rack.
Major advantages for the user are the even distribution of the chilled air in front of the 19" rails, complete accessibility and cooling, of either one or two server racks with one LCP. A cooling performance of up to 30 kW is delivered. The cold air is blown in horizontally – directly in front of the rows of servers – and ensures smooth thermal conditions.
The LCP possesses its own regulation system, which can be integrated into a monitoring network via Computer Multi Control Top Concept (CMC-TC). The user benefits from comprehensive safety features.
UL/cUL appovals guarantee proven safety for the endorse LCP as a tested and approved product for the US and Canadian markets.
RimatriX5, from Rittal, is an integrated overall concept for modern data centers with comprehensive service and five perfectly matched IT modules: Rack, Power, Cooling, Security as well as Monitoring and Remote Management.
