Product Announcement from Robinson Fans
Robinson heavy-duty airfoil fans: Designed, engineered and tested for airstreams requiring high efficiency and quiet operation.
Used for a wide range of applications in many industries, AF fans are designed, engineered and tested for use in airstreams where high efficiency and quiet operation are required. They are used extensively for continuous service to 850°F in forced and induced draft applications in the metals, chemical, power generation, paper, rock products, glass, resource recovery, incineration and other industries throughout the world.
Designed for Variable Speed Applications
Robinson's AF Series fans are also designed for use with variable-speed motors. The additional design considerations and requirements of such applications are taken into account during fan development and construction. Research, Engineering and Testing
Like all Robinson products, AF fans are built with quality materials by skilled, experienced craftsmen for reliability and longevity. This level of quality is a result of ongoing research and testing in Robinson's own lab facilities. Robinson builds prototype fans and tests them for air performance and sound. Finite element stress analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and resonant frequency testing are other procedures used regularly to help Robinson engineers "design in" optimum reliability and performance. This, together with extensive field experience, provides Robinson with the information and expertise to engineer fans that satisfy the requirements of individual applications and service conditions.
