The VMM 200 a high precision measuring microscope with XY measuring ranges of 150 x 100 or 250 x 150; Z of 150mm and resolution as high as 0.0001mm. It has a cold fiber optic light source with reflective halogen lamp (30-250W) producing transmitted, incident, oblique incident of ring light modes for metallurgical studies, bright field, dark field, interference contrast and polarization are available.
The superlative optics are of the original Leica designs with magnifications from 25X to 1000X. Because of the modular construction concept the instrument is available in simple manual mode or any of several fully automated modes with digital read out.
