Roura designed and manufactures a special attachment for a front end loader that is used for the purpose of charging materials into melting or smelting furnaces that require the attachment to be resistant to extremely high temperatures. The example shown below was manufactured for the Oxbow Group and is used in the production of high quality ferrosilicon. The loader is designed to maintain a low profile in both the loaded and dumped position to allow easy access to the charging furnace and is reinforced to handle heavy loads. The hydraulic dumping mechanism is strategically positioned to minimize high heat exposure. This loading mechanism is also ideal for use in loading open-front reverb furnaces used in the melting of aluminum alloys as well as a conversion package for mobile equipment that require front end loading capability
