Search Capabilities

The SAE Aerospace Standards on CD-ROM includes an easy-to-use search engine that will assist in locating the aerospace standards you need. Some of the key search features include:

• Ability to perform search by document number or keyword
• A Field Search form that allows you to search for a term or number within a particular data field (Index, Abstract, Title, or Document Number)
• Field Search allows you to concentrate your search for keywords across five different categories - Cancelled, Superseded, Updates, Reaffirmed and Full Text.
• An Expert Search form that allows for searching with a field for Boolean operators.

Search results are displayed in the "hit list" pane at the bottom of your screen. The results are ranked by relevance.

Search results can also be sorted by publication date, title or document number.
