SATO Integration Solutions Division (SATO ISD) is a systems integration group of SATO America, Inc. and specializes in the development and support of turnkey, yet flexible software logistics systems (WMS/YMS/OMS/ATS) and RFID products within various industries including Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Medical, Restaurant / Food and Beverage, Retail and Consumer Goods, and Warehousing and Distribution. Additionally, SATO ISD provides process improvement, consulting, and project management services to channel partners and customers of the Supply Chain industry, consistent with SATO's global strategies in DCS and Labeling and further differentiating SATO from its competitors.
SATO ISD offers a unique blend of technological and operational skills, honed from decades of hands-on warehousing and distribution experience with Fortune 500 companies. SATO ISD pulled together these skills to develop software and RFID solutions that enable companies to optimize the performance of their enterprise chains. Our technicians have designed and implemented Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) that run some of largest distribution operations in North America, including FedEx, Starbucks, Red Bull, DirecTV, Hewlett- Packard, Brother International and Sysco Foods, integrating the systems installations with various host ERP (i.e. SAP, JDE, Oracle, etc) systems.
It was a natural extension of the SATO ISD core business to deliver RFID services, and SATO ISD has become a leading innovator and integrator for complete turnkey RFID/Supply Chain Management solutions. SATO in itself is acknowledged by the industry as pioneers in RF-enabled supply chain execution solutions, but now adds revolutionary solutions that help companies increase their systems performance and day to day operations.
SATO ISD also manufactures its own unique RFID portal solutions, providing companies with affordable, turnkey RFID encode/capture packages. SATO further distinguishes itself from its competitors by providing a "single source" resource for its customer's, drawing upon our years of industry experience to source and procure the optimal mix of products and services which best serves our customers' business needs while remaining within their project's budget. As such, SATO ISD may need to partner with other vendors to source and provide the best solutions for its customers, often co-marketing these partners' hardware and/or software products.
As a leading innovator and a growing presence within the industry, SATO continues to pioneer new paths and develop new products which solve real-life customer problems. Our innovations have proven themselves within multiple industries, including Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Electronics, and Retail and Consumer Goods. For example, the introduction of the Tuff Tank© Portal product line filled a neglected niche within the RFID industry. Despite the product line's relatively recent introduction, Tuff Tank© Portals can already be found in operation at many Fortune 500 companies and are offered through leading distributors.
Although Fortune 500 companies represent a major segment of SATO ISD's clientele, the Company still retains its vision for servicing small and medium size businesses and its channel of VAR partners, providing scalable solutions to meet their specific needs.
