Corporation SPG DATA 3D announced a new product within their Accu3D line of vision systems. The new 3D Vision Module for robotic applications is designed to withstand harsh manufacturing environment and provides an easy way to automate various robotized application where 3D vision is required. All components of the vision module are protected by positive-pressure enclosure. Each Module is configured according to specific application requirements. Recently a similar 3D Vision Module was delivered to Alstom Power to allow for fully automated laser welding process of gas-turbine parts.
