Acu-trac® Smart 485 Diesel Level Sensor is a non-contact sensor that is a direct replacement for diesel level sender on tanks with depths of ≤ 2.5 meters (98 inches). This diesel level sensor is for use on diesel fuel and other non-gasoline applications such as oil level, water level, waste water level, coolant level and urea level.
The Smart 485 Diesel level sensor offers a choice of outputs (current; ratiometric voltage; or non-ratiometric voltage) along with a digital output on a RS-485 bus.
The Smart 485 Diesel level sensor 's RS-485 bus allows real time processing of diesel fuel and other media data and messaging over the 485 bus. The 485 bus also provides the user flexibility to program the Smart 485 Diesel level sensor for tank configuration, digital filtering, gauge drive output full and empty endpoints and communication mode.
