SSI Technologies Inc., Now Offers Digital FluidTrac®
Janesville, WI, Jan. 20, 2006-- SSI Technologies will begin their launch of the Digital FluidTrac® in February of 2006. The cost-competitive product uses ultrasonic technology to measure the level of liquid in a mobile or stationary barrel. Digital FluidTrac® is non-invasive, as it has no moving parts and is not submersed in the fluid to be measured. It is applicable to diesel fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids, liquid materials, water and ionized water.
According to Operations Manager, Brian Wyss, "This product continues the SSI Industrial Division's rapid growth into the market by providing the customer with the advantage of a digital read-out feature." Digital FluidTrac® has a continuous digital display in gallons or liters corresponding with a picture display of level. Level measurements are updated every five minutes and the unit runs off a standard nine-volt battery.
Measuring depths from 5 – 40 inches, it is very precise at +/- .5 inches, offering more accuracy than current alternatives. This product is more reliable, using the measurement of sound waves and echo speed. Excluding moving parts, the Digital FluidTrac® design eliminates the potential of contaminating the fluid and prolongs the product's life.
