Laser Marking & Laser Engraving Machines

Schmidt's Microlase® laser marking and laser engraving machines are commonly used for part identification and product traceability to mark data matrix, 2D barcode, material flow, graphics, logos, date codes, serial numbers and more. Schmidt high power laser systems are also used in non-marking applications such as cutting, drilling, and patterning for processing of materials such as thin sheets, ceramics and silicon.

Diode Laser System Capabilities

Schmidt Microlase® Diode lasers can be used for a variety of applications such as, deep marking, fine surface engraving or ablating (heat mark) where a very small amount of the material is removed such as a surface paint. Schmidt diode laser systems offers the ability to mark clean, clear, and accurately on a wide variety of materials such as, metals, glass, plastics, ceramics, silicon, and organics.

Schmidt Microlase® laser systems require almost no maintenance, and can be operated with our easy-to-use Windows-based laser software.

Laser System Enclosures:

Our Microlase fiber lasers and diode lasers can function as stand alone offline systems that are mounted in a safety interlocked Class I certified enclosure or they can be integrated into your production line to mark on the fly or as a fixed stop and go operation.

Schmidt's extensive knowledge on the various laser sources can help you decide which system is best for your application. Our in-house design, engineering and manufacturing departments allow for complete control over every aspect of our customer's marking application, from concept to delivery, to installation and start-up support. Integration and custom capabilities include electrical, mechanical and software applications, and are available for all product lines.
