Schmidt's portable Styliner® Stinger® and Super Stinger® are designed specifically for handheld applications. Their light weight design make them particularly useful for marking large or heavy parts that are difficult to bring to a fixed bench top marking station.

The Stinger® and Super Stinger® can be supplied with a wide variety of options and accessories, as well as customized to fit your exact marking application needs. Our Stinger® marking systems can be column mounted with an optional disconnect for hand held marking all-in-one. Two and four wheel mobile support carts are available for ease in travel around the shop floor. A variety of controller options and two operating software interfaces are available to best suit your marking application.

Portable (Stinger) Marking System Features:

• 1"x2.5" and 1"x4" standard marking fields, custom available
• 10 to 30 ft. communication cable (up to 100 ft. available)

Controls for the Styliner® Stinger® and Super Stinger® systems are available in different configurations to accommodate a variety of machine requirements. The MS Mini-Win and the MS P controllers have a smaller footprint than our standard XPE, making portability even easier.

Communications for the Stinger® series are interfaced with a robust, stable and very flexible software packages. The software is available in two configurations; StyleWrite for Windows operating environments and Style40 for DOS operating environments.

Standard controls with a VGA monitor allows for on screen programming and full marking software capabilities, or a four line x 40 character LCD display can be used in more harsh environments. For the ultimate in pin mark portability, the mini portable controller can be carried to the site by hand or installed on a two or four wheeled mobile support cart.

Also available in the Styliner® dot peen pin marking series are the column mounted and bench top systems the Mark3 and Mark4, as well as, the separate marking heads for integration.
