The AV series Rotary Timing Valve (RTV) is used for the transfer of air and/or gases from stationary piping into or out of rotating machinery where automatic On/Off flow control is required. These are available in 3, 4, 6 or 8 station versions. Modified or custom configurations are also available. All AV series Rotary Timing Valves are of disk configuration made of hard coat anodized aluminum. Standard timing accuracy is within in 1-2 degrees. All AV series valves are shipped fully tested, lubricated and ready for installation.
Typical Applications:
Automatic clamping/unclamping in assembly machines, machining operations, part transfer. Actuation of mechanical devices such as clutches, brakes, part ejection, single and double-acting cylinders. Vacuum chucking for silicon wafer systems, plastics handling, semi-conductor manufacturing. Part sensor control for activating clamping devices. Multiple functions, such as collet or chuck operation, and spindle control.
