seepex Stator Retensioning Device

The seepex stator retensioning device was designed to dramatically increase stator longevity, critical especially in abrasive applications.

The device consists of an adjustable stainless steel sleeve with an internal rubber lining and a series of adjusting bolts. Depending upon stator size, adjustable bolts can be on one or both sides of the longitudinally slotted stator to allow for adjustment of the stator tube's circumference. The combination of the adjustable band with three longitudinal slots in the stator assures that compression can be maintained evenly along the entire circumference of the mating rotor and stator. Customers report that adjustable stators last four times longer than conventional stators.

The device not only saves money by increasing stator life and thereby reducing replacement expense, but adjustments can also be performed while the pump in still in service, eliminating costly down-time. When combined with the seepex 6-L stator geometry, which already increases stator life by 30 to 50 %, the combined savings realized with a stator retensioning device are even more significant.
