Static control bags minimize the charge generated when rubbed against or separated from themselves or other material. Static control materials need to have a conductive layer with surface resistivity less than 1 x 10⁴ ohms/sq. or volume resistivity less than 100 Ohm •cm. Static control materials can be made using additives, surface treatment or be naturally dissipative. Select Fabricators can provide bags using materials of all three types.
