• Ultra small 2x2mm MLPD package with 0.6mm maximum height - This ultra small package saves board space and cost
• Dual inputs for USB and Adapter - Simplifies detection of AC Adapter. Charger automatically charges at USB or Adapter rate with priority to Adapter when both are present.
• 30V protection and Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) on both inputs - Both inputs will survive sustained input voltage up to 30V to protect against hot plug overshoot and faulty charging adapters. Eliminates the need for external OVP chips and other forms of protection.
• Integrated pass transistor, reverse current blocking, and current sense - Eliminates external components, reduces size/costs, and significantly lowers source to battery dropout voltage. Protects battery and system from short circuits at the USB or adapter connector terminals.
• Three constant-current charging modes set by two external resistors - Independent adjustment of Adapter current and USB high/low currents. One resistor sets the USB current; USB low is fixed 20% of USB high. Other resistor sets the adapter current, which can be set as high as 1A.
• Complies with China charger specification CCSA YD/T 1591-2206 - May be applied in global markets. Reduces environmental waste by standardization of all wall adapters for handheld products.
• Complies with USB-IF Battery Charging Specification - With proper system software, allows certification by the USB-IF and registration upon the USB Integrators List. Certification implies compatibility with a wide variety of dedicated adapters, host, and hubs.
