Sensidyne provides gas detector features that save you time and money. Beginning with transportable calibration, SensAlert Plus smart sensors can be calibrated in a safe environment such as an instrument shop then installed in the field. Non-volatile memory stores calibration data, operating parameters and sensor history in the sensor. Once installed the information is uploaded into the transmitter and automatic environmental compensation is performed.

Transportable calibration is one of many benefits of the Smart Sensor Technology built into every SensAlert Plus sensor. And as a result of a universal sensor interface one transmitter type will accept combustible, toxic and oxygen sensors without any changes or reconfiguration. The Predictive Sensor Failure (PSF) function provides warning of approaching sensor end-of-life by.

An additional money saving feature of the SensAlert Plus family is the optional, integral Test-On-Demand (TOD) gas generation cell. The built-in TOD cell is capable of performing functional sensor tests using real gas ensuring sensors are 'healthy' and eliminating manual bump testing. Tests can be initiated on a programmable schedule or on-demand. TOD history is stored and can be reviews through the data review functions of the transmitted.

Maintenance is greatly reduced with a non-intrusive, menu-driven user interface for functional tests and configuration (password protected). A large graphic display shows step-by step instructions for calibration, configuration and data retrieval. SensAlert Plus Sensors are shipped factory calibrated and have been Agency approved for hot-swapping in hazardous classified areas.

Performance Testing and Certification permits virtually unrestricted operation in hazardous classified areas while Intrinsically Safe (IS) installation solves difficult application problems with minimal maintenance.

SensAlert Plus delivers a high level of operational security and confidence with a low cost of ownership.
