The Shupper-Brickle Equipment Company, based in central New Jersey, recently experienced the global economy first-hand, when an engineering firm based in North Carolina called with a special challenge: Their customer needed four 25-Metric-Ton Army-Type Hand Geared Trolley hoists, each with a special headroom requirement of 1500 mm, maximum. They also required an expedited delivery.
Shupper-Brickle Equipment responded with a design and quote, for which the resulting order and fulfillment spanned four continents:
Through multi-continent coordination, the equipment was delivered on time and in compliance with the specification. Said Andrew Litecky, president of Shupper-Brickle Equipment: "A job like this brings the crane and hoist industry into perspective. We may be a small business, but there's a global demand for our expertise."
