The ICR850-2 is a second generation Code Reader for 2D Data Matrix and 1D codes. This family of fixed-mount, area scanners combines a large field of view, high-speed reading for increased throughput, and a higher resolution, enabling the scanners to read smaller codes – up to 3 mils. The ICR850-2 also offers omni directional reading and integrated illumination. Other scanners in this family include the ICR852-2, a high density variant; and the ICR855-2, a high-speed variant.

Industry-compatible IP 65 housings, integrated illumination, user-friendly image recording, decoding with rapid image and data output via standardized interfaces enable the scanners to be quickly implemented in many applications. These features increase process reliability and ensure dependable identification. Applications include print and paper document handling and identification of components and circuit boards in the electronics industry.
