SICK's new UE44x7 remote Safety Controllers provide a variety of unique solutions for both local and distributed safety control systems. These controllers, which can be easily integrated into stand-alone, DeviceNet and DeviceNet Safety network applications, are ideal for a variety of safety-relevant industrial controls applications. The IP 67 enclosure rating of the UE4457 and UE4427 Controllers allows you the ability to implement the UE44x7 using on-machine mounting and quick-disconnect technology rather than consuming valuable panel space and home run wiring.
Features include six dual channel safety capable inputs, 12 test/signal outputs and two dual-channel bipolar safety outputs. The UE4457 also includes two additional Safety Data Link (SDL) connections to gain diagnostic and control access for SICK's intelligent safety sensors including SICK S3000/S300 Advanced Safety Laser Scanners, SICK M4000 Advanced Safety Perimeter Guards and SICK C4000 Safety Light Curtains. The UE44x7 Controllers are third-party, safety-certified devices that feature advanced safety-rated control capabilities with software programming, diagnostic communication over standard and safety-rated DeviceNet fieldbus, fast response times (less than 8 ms with fast shutoff), on-machine mounting and reduced wiring requirements.
