The V200 and V300 WS (Work Station) Safety Camera Systems are small, single-unit devices that offer easy and flexible integration for point-of-operation safeguarding applications. Unlike safety light curtains, these compact, camera-based safety systems require no alignment or software configuration, enabling easy, low-cost installation and start-up. The V200 and V300 are ideal for safeguarding small assembly, handling and test machines, where operators must reach into the machine.

These new one-of-a-kind safety systems feature a camera that uses invisible LED light beams to illuminate unique reflective strips that define the coverage area. Typically mounted to the corner of a rectangular frame opening, the camera optics (receiver) monitor the reflected signal for interruptions. When the camera detects any type of disruption to the defined safety area, the dangerous movement is immediately stopped. Depending on the safety requirements, users can choose from the safety Category 2, SIL 1, Performance Level c (PLc) V200, or the safety Category 3, SIL 2, Performance Level d (PLd) V300.
