Siemens' Mobile Horizontal Filtration Treatment (HFT) unit is a self-contained, trailer-mounted system capable of producing up to 1,200 gallons per minute (gpm) of high quality feedwater for reverse osmosis systems. Depending on the media used, the mobile filtration system can be used as a multimedia filter (with chemical feed for turbidity reduction), as an activated carbon adsorber (for dechlorination or organic removal) or with specialized resin (for iron and manganese removal).
