Bunting Magnetics Co. manufactures an extensive line of compact Low-Profile and Special-Purpose Conveyors that fit where other conveyors cannot. These special space-saving conveyors are designed to reach into, and operate in, confined spaces around production machinery. Standard models are magnetic to provide continuous control of small-to-medium size ferrous parts and scrap even on inclines. Both magnetic and nonmagnetic models reduce labor costs, minimize downtime, and increase productivity.
Standard Low-Profile Conveyors require less than a 2" clearance and are built to withstand the day-to-day punishment of punch press and automated applications. Heavy-duty models are designed for extra-heavy loads, high belt speeds, and applications with heavily oiled materials. Additionally, the Bunting quick-change belt design minimizes downtime for belt replacements and allows for easy on-line tension and tracking adjustments. Low-Profile bearings and belts are widely available for replacement from local supply houses or by calling Bunting direct. Options include individual and gang drives, specialized belts, floor supports, and side guards.
Bunting Medium-Frame Conveyors also take up less space than conventional units. Their standard frames measure just 3½" high and are only 2¾" wider than their belts, which range from 2 to 36 inches in width. They offer a selection of frame lengths, magnetic elements, drive motors, and height and incline adjustments as well as optional portability.
Bunting Magnetic Lawnchair Conveyors automate part and scrap removal from underneath machinery, eliminating manual handling of heavy totes and the possibility of part or scrap overflow on the production line. The Lawnchair's unusual "Z" shaped cantilevered design allows the unit's low-slung horizontal section to be positioned under punch presses and other machines to retrieve ferrous materials. Standard models have wheeled bases for portability, but skid-base models are available to fit under machines with exceptionally low chutes. Decreasing magnetic force at the discharge end of the Lawnchair provides smooth release of product and scrap.
