St Marys, PA – May 19, 2009 – Spectrum Sensors & Controls, Inc. has published a new selection guide highlighting their HVAC Temperature Sensors. This new literature presents detailed features and specifications on surface, air, immersion and motor temperature sensors for the HVAC industry. These temperature sensors cover a temperature range from -50°C to over 350°C in both heating and cooling applications and can be found on large and small chillers, heat pumps, PTACs, boilers, furnaces, air handlers, zone controls and many more heating and cooling products.
For over 20 years, the Advanced Thermal Products Operation of Spectrum Sensors & Controls has been a preferred supplier to leading HVAC OEMs. Their products include a motor temperature sensor; surface temperature sensors consisting of ruggedized, moisture resistant, clip-on, Sens-A-Coil, and strap-on; air temperature sensors including snap-in, handy box (duct), air temperature sensor with flange and air sensor harness assembly; and immersion temperature sensors made up of standard immersion, straight stainless steel tube, bent stainless steel tube and brass/stainless threaded sensors.
Spectrum Sensors packages NTC thermistors, RTD elements, silicon PTCs, IC temperature to voltage transducers and digital temperature sensors to provide a customized temperature sensor for specific applications. Quick-turn prototypes can often be produced within 48 hours and the manufacturing and customer service teams will develop a complete global logistic support program. Spectrum Sensors & Controls, Inc. has low cost production centers in Mexico and China to complement their St Marys, PA facility and is ISO9001: 2000 certified.
