The AutoJet Zoned Cooling Spray System is a turnkey system that provides even cooling across the entire width of your product while minimizing total water usage.
As the material enters the cooling section, initial cooling is provided in three adjacent spray zones or "lanes". To achieve a more uniform temperature profile, the web is then divided into four spray zones and each is cooled independently using multiple spray headers. (NOTE: The number and dimension of zones can be adjusted based on the width of your production line.)
In each zone, as the material heats up, the corresponding spray nozzles in that "lane" increase their flow to increase the cooling effect. As the product reaches optimum temperature, flow rate is decreased.
Temperature variations across the web are eliminated and the product exits the cooling section at optimum temperature. Water usage is minimized and most cooling water is evaporated, eliminating cleanup hassles.
