Star Micronics America Inc., a world-wide printer manufacturer, today announced that Retail Pro, Inc. has named Star Micronics as the software company's "Preferred Retail Printer Platform" for its customers and resellers.

As the "Preferred Printer Platform," Star Micronics point of sale printers will be part of a best practices kit for existing and new Retail Pro® resellers.
