Storage Battery Systems Inc. has developed a sensible alternative to the typical $18,000 I-R thermal camera system. Our SBS-3660 presents an economical means to thermally evaluate systems, equipment, components & even specific points on an electrical system. The SBS-3660 is not meant to take high resolution RL digital pictures or infitely granulated, minutely precise temperature readings. Its granulation is a direct function of its distance to the target. Its purpose is to quickly and accurately sample the temperature of a given 2D area & quickly translate it to a RL location so that inervention & remedy may be applied as needed. The SBS-3660 allows you to define hot enclosures & areas within those enclosures. It allows you to image a component (located in the suspect area) & quickly determine the hotest areas of that component. Ideal thermal resolution is obtained from distances of 12 feet or less but as you "drill down" by distance you more narrowly identify the thermal condition of the area of concern. The SBS-3660 brings thermal imaging into a usable range for everyday validating & troubleshooting applications. The SBS-3660 comes with a carry case, 16mB flash card, AC adapter & misc video/computer cables.
