Storage Battery Systems manufactures the "AFT" Series battery to comply with Canex/Telcordia SR4228, Bellcore GR-63 & IEC 60896-2 as well as virtually every other telecommunications standard worldwide. Our most popular size is the 12AFT180, a 180A/h monoblock 21.5"Lx4.9"Wx12.5"H that will fit four (4) jars in the typical battery shelf. Warranted for 20 years, the first 5 are at 100% with the balance of 15 pro-rated. Capacities range from 55 to 250 A/h and the 12v jars are front access with unrestricted mounting. ABS flame retardant casings are standard (UL94 VO) & sealed brass terminal inserts accommodate high rate discharges without post seal leakage or gowth. The terminals are protected with flip-top covers & case handles are standard to facilitate installation. The AFT offers the highest power density per footprint in the industry per 12v jar. The AFT can be made available with benefits of GEL Electrolyte Technology in identical "AGT" models as well to afford tolerance to higher ambient temperatures, increased cycle rate, longer duration discharges and repeated discharges when full recovery charge has not been attained.
