The SN111 End Device provides a latching relay for controlling external devices, and a sensor input with jumper-selectable pullup resistors which allows the connection of a number of off-the-shelf resistive sensor types such as photocells and thermistors.
• Compatible with all Synapse RF Engines
• RS-232 port with full hardware flow control (UART1)
• 2-Digit 7-segment LED, software controllable
• Status LED and select switch, also under user software control
• Battery or external power option
• 10A latching relay
• Analog input terminals (ADC-CH0) 10-bit A/D with selectable pullup
Powered by any of the three models of the Synapse RF Engine Modules, the End Device SNAP node provides identical peer-to-peer mesh networking capabilities. The End Device SNAP node includes a sensor input port and relay actuator allowing it to interface with (monitor and control) the outside world. As soon as you select your RF Engine and power-up the End Device SNAP node, it immediately integrates into the network.
Using Synapse Portal, applications can be created quickly and concisely in a high-level English-like language called Python and then downloaded to the selected node(s) wirelessly for autonomous operation. No embedded programming experience is required.
