All electrical and electronic products sold in markets around the world must demonstrate that they function according to existing electrical safety regulations and standards. These regulations and standards differ from country to country, with varying degrees of complexity.
At TUV America we are fluent in the complex language of electrical safety. Our global testing facilities and expert staff provide electrical testing and certification services, on local, country and global scales. Our services include testing and certification for compliance to many market requirements, including Europe, the United States and Canada.
TÜV is also a member of the international CB Scheme. TUV Product Service provides CB Scheme certification for a number of product categories, including IT and office equipment, lighting fixtures, tools, household and entertainment electronics, laboratory, test and measurement and electrical equipment for medical use.
As a value-added service, TUV offers the CUE certification program. CUE is the acronym for our 3-in-1 product certification service for the Canadian, the United States and European markets. TUV will simultaneously determine compliance of your products to Canadian (CSA/SCC), the United States (UL/ANSI) and European (EN/IEC) safety standards, thus providing a unique certification service for three important markets.
For additional convenience, we also offer clients the opportunity to participate in our ACT program. Acceptance of Client's Testing (ACT), is a unique program in which TUV Product Service authorizes a manufacturer's facility and staff to perform product safety testing, helping organizations reduce product compliance costs while simultaneously accelerating the compliance process.
