Premium grade TAC-Tapes from Taconic are ideal for masking PVC profiles during window fabrication. TAC-Tapes are used as a release surface in welding machines during the welding of PVC profiles. The tape covers the hot platens to prevent the PVC from sticking to it. Both the non-stick and high temperature properties (up to +260°C) of these tapes make them an ideal solution for this application.

Testing conducted in the PVC window industry shows that Taconic's TAC-Tapes last significantly longer than equivalent products from other manufacturers. These products have been developed for use in all types of welding machines. TAC-Tapes can be supplied in pre-cut pieces to fit a specific type of machine or in roll form.
